When I first read the story of Ben Jealous winning the position of President of the NAACP, I read a short, nice story and I proceeded to repost it. When I went back to get the link, I found I had lost the page. I went back to get it but happened upon another story that had a completely different take. The first line jumped out at me.

Lil’ Kim won a small victory in court yesterday, when a judge awarded her $500,000 dollars over an unauthorized DVD released by former cohort Lil’ Cease.

Now I can appreciate his apology. I love it when my husband calls me “sweetie” but to hear it while you’re working or when it’s said in a condescending manner really annoys the hell out of me.
