New Mixtape: Best of 2010 with TSR

Hey Everybody…it’s the Mixtress of R&B! I hope you had a great time on New Year’s Eve…I was putting together my best of 2010. I’m starting it out with Fuck you by Ceelo and ending it with Runaway..pretty much sums up my life in 2010! After all..I did play majority of these in my mixtapes throughout the year…check it for yourself:
Wedding Reception Mix (January)
March Madness Pt2
June Jackin 5
Fall Jams 10/10
December Jams 2010
I also did this mix as a collabo with another site The Soul Reservoir…I am “Your Favorite Blogger’s, Favorite DJ” ;)

Monday Mixtape: For Colored Girls Who Keep It Moving

Hey Everybody! I came up with this mix after watching the new Tyler Perry Movie “For Colored Girls” based on the play “For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Wasn’t Enuf” by Ntozake Shange. I personally thought it was a good movie. I was thankful to see so many actresses of color working in a film about us. I am grateful that Tyler took the project on even though most don’t think he was qualified to do it. If he didn’t do it…who would have?

Anyway, considering my situation and the fact that I identified with most of the characters I decided to put together my own mix. I chose a song for all of the characters and for myself. I hope you enjoy it!

Monday Mixtape: Bobby Womack vs David Ruffin

Monday Mixtape: Slow Jams Vol.1

This week’s mix is continuing my series of slow jams. I created a new category on the side to help you find them. I’ve had Babymaking Music, Secret Lovers, Sexcellence, Isley Brothers Ballads and of course my 3 Annual CupidHunt Podcasts.

This time I wanted some love music from the late 80′s and 90′s male singers. I’m real partial to all male mixtapes as you can see. It almost feels like they singing to me. I hope you enjoy it and please let me know if yall make any babies off these slow jam mixes :D
