Hey Everybody! What a way to close out the year! Kanye’s new album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” has been on constant repeat in my headphones for the last 3 weeks so I built this mixtape around him. I threw in some new joints, had to look out for Harlem and the Dipset Reunion! That new song by Brandy sounds like a Ne-Yo song and speaking of Ne-Yo, I threw in a couple by him too! Considering that it was Pink Friday last week, I included some Nikki Minaj. Personally I think Lil Kim roasted her in Black Friday so that’s in the mix too!

I love love love hip hop with an alternative sound so there’s sone Lupe Fiasco, Bruno Mars and some Eminem with Rhianna (I LOVE THAT SONG)

This week”s Monday Mixtape is a request by @Eb_the_Celeb. A few months back she requested a 90′s girl mix. I tried to include many of the girl groups and collabos that were quite popular in 90′s R&B. I left some people out like Xscape but this is a theme I know I will return to. In the mid 90′s I spent a lot of time in the clubs and doing Karaoke..but how is that different from now?? Anyway..

Me and Eb been cool for a good long while. The Internet does that to people but I’ve met her in person too. A Harlem Socialite..Eb’s great enthusiam is only matched by her hard work. So I like I said before…I have been swamped by outings with friends, the twins graduation, Prom and induction into the Honor Society, changes in leadership at the job…It’s been quite a summer so far.

I’m behind but I like to keep my promises.

This mix was requested by my best friend Tutu. Yeah she’s my best friend. Divaliscious is my sister and Tutu is my best friend. She requested this mix for her b’day back in April and although I was still going to class at Scratch, I put this together for her. I used some of songs I was listening to in April and may…with some of the songs i used for my final at the Scratch Academy…with some of the songs I heard during Tutu’s birthday weekend…

Funny thing is…I threw a graduation party for the twins and this mix was such a hit…so uhm…you might want to listen to what your kids are listening to..

I took too long posting it…but those who have had it…have loved it…so why hold on to it?

My girl Golden aka Miss Jo_Ladie made a request last week for some workout music! Now me and her go way back…back to where we didn’t speak but moved around in the same blog circles (back when I was a personal blogger lol) Since arriving on Twitter and especially since my return back to NY…it seems we have gotten closer and that’s a good thing because I would never have know what a talented and sweet person she is. Lil’ Kim won a small victory in court yesterday, when a judge awarded her $500,000 dollars over an unauthorized DVD released by former cohort Lil’ Cease.

According to The New York Post, Manhattan Federal judge Jed Rakoff sided with Lil’ Kim and ruled that Lil’ Cease and his company Ground Zero entertainment infringed upon Lil’ Kims rights.
