Well #CuffinSeason is upon us. I racked my brain trying to find something suitable. Weeks went by and still I had nothing. And I’m not going to mix if I’m not inspired by a theme (or if I’m not getting paid for it lol). Slowly a theme began to take shape. I remembered when I first began to have relations and I made a mixtape to seduce my “Milk and Cookies”.  After I took advantage of him, the next day, I was laying in my room playing the mix on cassette and my mother bust in the room talking about making her a copy. I did, but it felt weird hearing it come from her room. I don’t have all of the songs but I have most of them.
What I’m feeling now, feels like what I was feeling back then. I hope it comes across in the mix and I hope my special person likes it :)

Welcome to another Memphis Edition of the Monday Mixtape. Memphis Blues Part 2 aka the Marriage Blues. When I go to different cities, I like to pick up on the musical tastes of those around me and the various night spots we hang out in. Here is the first Memphis Blues Mix that I did (click here). This time around what I noticed the most were that the most popular songs were about cheating…and not just cheating…serious adultery was being committed in these songs. Women..Men…they both were singing about sneaking around on their spouses. Stories, advice, caution…a person could pick up a lot of tips if one was so inclined ;)
