The Ladies have been calling for more Heartbreak music and I also needed something along the lines of this. Maybe it’s a music “Dear John” letter to my exes or it could be a purging which is also overdue for me. I experienced a lot of emotions doing this mix. I redid it twice because I wanted it right. If you have someone to say goodbye to or if you have already bid someone adieu, this is the mix for you. Full of Neo-Soul goodness from some of the finest female singers in the genre, I hope you enjoy it!

This Monday Mixtape was a special request from one of my listeners. I put up a shoutbox for requests and Ebony so sweetly requested a mix of songs that inspire women. This was perfect timing because my birthday is Saturday and nothing makes an Aries feel better than some pump-me-up music.

I have to say that I had a great time putting this one together. I was going to do Disco but somehow it shaped up into a battle between Diana Ross and Donna Summer. Long before there was a Bey Bey and Rhi Rhi battle…there was the grown Diva battle between Diana and Donna. Disco was good for Diana’s emerging solo career and for the newcomer Donna’s breakout hits. The 70′s were good to these ladies so I included most of their fast hits!

This week”s Monday Mixtape is a request by @Eb_the_Celeb. A few months back she requested a 90′s girl mix. I tried to include many of the girl groups and collabos that were quite popular in 90′s R&B.
