This week on Twitter, Fabulous said that the Drake album “Thank Me Later” was the Hottest R&B album out right now. I tend to agree with him. Full of moody beats and striking lyrics sung in a truly melodic fashion, this R&B DJ immediately fell in love when he began to sing Find Your Love. What was more exciting was when I found out the subject of his song “Fireworks” was no other than Rhianna!

This Sunday in the New York Times, Drake is going to talk about his fling last year with Rhianna:

“I was a pawn,” Drake told the newspaper about his time with Rihanna, which began with an invite to pen a track for the singer. “You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, ‘Wow, this feels terrible.’ “

Drake channeled the experience into song, penning a verse on “Fireworks” dedicated to Rihanna, though he never mentions her by name. “I could tell it wasn’t love/ I just thought you’d f—ed with me/ Who could have predicted/ Lucky Strike would have you stuck with me,” Drake raps on the song, referring to the Manhattan bowling alley where the two reportedly made out. “Damn, I kept my wits about me, luckily/ What happened between us that night, it always seems to trouble me/ Now all of a sudden, these gossip rags want to cover me/ And you making it seem like it happened that way because of me.”

Now I knew he was lying last year when the New York Post ran that column claiming it caught the lovebirds at the bowling alley. Drake was running all over town saying:

“It’s not like that at all,” Drake told show hosts Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg. “I’m being honest. [She's] just a friend, that’s all. A great artist. I have the most respect for her. I think she’s so talented.”

Man if you tapped that you tapped it. Now you salty…I’m confused…but what’s done in the dark, always comes to light. Even if it’s a year later.

Have yall heard about this? Anita Baker’s soon to be ex-husband is something else. After watching this video I wanted to find him and wring his neck for putting her through all of this. What she says makes perfect sense to me. Why sue Anita for the money…unless…the record company is paying Anita and she supposed to pay him. Then it makes sense why they coming down so hard on her.

My grandma always said it was a bad idea to mix your men with your money. And when she got married 2 years ago at the age of 75..she got a prenup! Granted my grandmother is a millionaire..but whether its a dime or a million..separate your heart from your pocket!

Call me psychic..but on the BART2009 I battled with Butta at Soulbounce with my prediction that Beyonce was gonna take a break. You should listen to that podcast.

So Beyonce is taking a 6 month break. Whether it’s gonna be to have a baby or to reinvent her style…either way I’m happy for her!

Believe it or not, Usher had doubts about releasing the revealing single “Papers” earlier this month.

According to songwriter Sean Garrett, the song was almost replaced with another record.

“We talked about this record coming out quite a few times,” Garrett tells PEOPLE.

“‘Should it come out? Should it not come out?’ We had questions about how it would be taken”.

While the song has taken off at radio and on the R&B/Hip Hop songs chart, jumping forty-three spots (60-17) last week, it has earned Usher a bit of backlash — both from fans and soon-to-be ex wife Tameka Foster Raymond.

Raymond, also subject of a 911 call in September(released last week), wrote a lengthy blog on Global Grind shortly after “Papers” debuted on the net. Calling certain entertainers “Thirsty,” Foster Raymond pointed out the fact that some will do anything to maintain a certain level of success in music.

According to Garrett however, the song would have never come out if feedback and approval from Usher’s label had not been as great as it was.

“We knew it was a smash,” says Garrett.

As previously reported, “Papers” is the lead single from Usher’s forthcoming album “Raymond vs. Raymond” due in stores in December.

Now I always felt that he did have a ghost blogger but instead of this dude….I thought it was another one (no? right?)

Kanye went as far as to post pics of him blogging…Now if that aint the stupidest shit in the world…

Now Sandra has taken it a step further with this post calling Angel all kinds of ugly and her readers “KFC eating no man having” folks.

Fullerton police Lt. Craig Brower says officers stopped 32-year-old Shante (Shahn-taye) Broadus of Sherman Oaks about 12:15 a.m. Saturday and took her to jail. She was cited and then released pending a court appearance.

Brower says nobody else was in the car but he didn’t have any other details.

Broadus and Snoop Dogg — whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr. — were married in 1997 and have three children.

A message left with Snoop Dogg’s publicist was not immediately returned.
