Hey Everybody!!! I’m back from vacation down in Memphis, TN!!!!
This is the first of 4 mixtapes that were inspired while I was on my vacation. Bobby Womack Vs David Ruffin. Both were powerhouses in the R&B scene during the 70′s and early 80′s and my heart has a soft spot for both of them. Most of my younger audience will probably not recognize any of the music…but I’m sure you’ll pick up the beats to some of your favorite rap songs.

DJ Diva….you've found my musical 'g-spot' here! Bobby Womack is the man and you rarely here his music played nowadays, although I caught a gimpse of him on the TV over here recently…he was playing with one of the hot new 'indie' bands…alas Alzheimers, I can't remember the name of the band…so he's still making music. This is a treat for me, because, whilst I have loads of his albums on vinyl, they're all stored away in the attic these days( I love your screen page…before kids, that's how my back bedroom was laid out!!!), so I'm going to enjoy listening to these Dusties”, Great choice to ally him with David Ruffin, I'm going to download the mix now and put on my walkman for my trip to work. Girl, you've put a smile on this man's face first thing in the morning!!!!
