Monday Mixtape: The Best of Swizz Beatz

Hey Everybody! It’s time for a new Producer Spotlight. This week I’m doing Swizz Beatz!!!

I call him the King of the break because he has best break timing I’ve ever heard. Although he mainly works with rappers, Swizz is more than capable of producing an R&B Mega Hit! My favorite song to dance to in the club is still “Get Me Bodied” and Beyonce’s handlers were brilliant when they got Swizz to do that beat. Swizz Beatz has been on the scene since the late 90’s and much of his early work was with the Ruff Ryder crew. He made those hard core thugs from Yonkers transform into club kings with his beats. One of his best years so far was 2007 where he had 10 songs on the billboard charts.
